Today, the Luzira Secondary School community extended love, compassion, and hope through a meaningful outreach to Sanyu Babies’ Home, where students and staff shared quality time with children under the home’s care.

The visit was more than a donation—it was a practical lesson in compassion and service. Our students actively participated in caring for the babies by feeding them, carrying and comforting them, washing their clothes, cleaning dishes, and scrubbing the compound pavements, leaving the home cleaner and brighter than they found it.

As part of the outreach, the school presented a cash donation of UGX 1,001,500, generously contributed by both students and staff, to support the continued care and well-being of the children.

We commend the school administration for this noble initiative of exposing learners to community service and instilling values of empathy, generosity, and social responsibility. Such experiences remind our students that true education is not only about academic excellence but also about making a positive difference in the lives of others.
