luzirasecondaryschool.com Celebrating ‘birthdays’ is always an amazing thing! and so this year we do celebrate our 40th year of existence. Many a time individuals and personalities invite family and friends to celebrate with them. This is regardless of the influence these individuals have had towards the well-being of humanity! In essence however, what is the purpose of living without positively impacting society?
Our journey of existence dates way back in 1984. Our Church of Uganda (Anglican) founders delivered a new born baby in the education sector with Godly intentions of positively contributing to the Luzira community, Uganda and the world as a whole. Since then we have evolved and grown in all areas ranging from academics, sports, Music Dance and Drama and the rest is history. We whole-heartedly thank the church for giving birth to us. May God continue to use you for the glory of his name and the well-being of humanity.
The Ruby jubilee that we celebrate this year is a time to reflect on our time of existence and the positive contribution we have had as an institution towards the development of the Education sector in the country. Indeed we have every reason to jubilate and give thanks to our Mighty God for the far we have come. We have indeed enjoyed this journey!

We appreciate our head teachers for the good leadership.
The school has consistently nurtured the population both within its vicinity and from afar. The current school enrollment is testament to the tremendous contribution we have had. Many young boys and girls continue to yearn for the school thanks to the great leadership we have had over the years. As a school, we do not take this for granted and we shall continue to uphold the values that have propelled us to this success.
This success has not come overnight and it is certainly not by luck! The staff (teaching and non-teaching) have been very relentless in executing their duties and have done it with the utmost diligence. The passion and dedication they manifest is exceptional! The school has a team of talented, caring, strong, and intelligent personnel who care about the well-being of the students. It is important to mention that without a conducive environment, learning cannot take place. So the staff have worked very hard to establish a positive and accommodating environment for all the students. This has gone a long way in navigating the challenges we have met along all these schooling years.
To our team leader – our beloved Head teacher, you have simply been sensational! Thank you for your visionary and exceptional leadership. Your unwavering commitment to academic excellence has been nothing short of remarkable. Your ability to inspire and motivate both students and staff is unrivaled. Thank you for your continuous guidance, support and ensuring the smooth running of the school. We are fortunate to have you as our leader. We believe that with your leadership, Luzira Secondary School will move from strength to strength.
To our esteemed stakeholders (Board of Governors and the Parents Teachers’ Association), thank you for your guidance. You have always been instrumental in the planning and supervision of school activities. Your strategic decision making has driven our school forward. We appreciate you very much.
We thank the government of Uganda and the Ministry of Education and Sports for aiding our founders in running our school. You have indeed helped very many young people in this country who would have otherwise found it hard to access education through Luzira Secondary School. Thank you for all the scholastic materials. We do not take your support for granted.
We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the Old Boys and Girls of this mighty school. You set the pace that your followers are emulating. We call upon you to always visit your school and motivate the young ones. They will learn a lot from your testimonies and inspirational talks.
