This morning, Luzira Secondary School had the privilege of hosting officers from the Uganda Police Fire Prevention and Rescue Services, who conducted a practical fire safety awareness session and fire drill for our students.

The officers provided hands-on training on the proper use of fire extinguishers, explained the different classes of fires, and demonstrated the appropriate methods of responding to fire emergencies. Students also learned the importance of remaining calm, following evacuation procedures, and taking the right safety precautions during emergencies.

The interactive session equipped our learners with essential life-saving skills and reinforced the importance of preparedness in creating a safe school environment.

We sincerely appreciate the Uganda Police Fire Prevention and Rescue Services for their professionalism, dedication, and commitment to promoting fire safety awareness among our students.

Together, we continue to build a culture of safety, responsibility, and preparedness.
