luzirasecondaryschool.com On Saturday, 21st June 2025, a team of brilliant students from Luzira Secondary School participated in the highly competitive Science Fight event at Galaxy International School. The event brought together top science minds from various schools, challenging participants in areas of innovation, scientific reasoning, and problem-solving.
Representing Luzira with confidence and intellect, our students impressed the judges and the audience alike with their creativity and deep understanding of scientific concepts. Their efforts did not go unnoticed.
In recognition of their outstanding performance, the team was awarded medals, which were officially presented during the Monday morning assembly by the Headteacher, Mr. Ssenyimba Hormisdas Peter. The school community applauded the young scientists for their remarkable achievement and representation of the school.
The Headteacher commended the students for their hard work and urged others to draw inspiration from their commitment to academic excellence. “Science is the future,” he noted, “and Luzira S.S. is proud to be nurturing future scientists and innovators.”
