Luzira, Uganda — Senior Six students at Luzira Secondary School attended a pre-exam briefing in preparation for the Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) exams. The meeting, headed by Mr. Odong Vicent, the Director of Studies (DOS), provided essential guidelines, final instructions, and encouragement for students as they approach this critical examination period.
Mr. Odong emphasized the importance of discipline, punctuality, and integrity, reminding students that these exams are not only a test of their academic knowledge but of their character as well. He outlined examination protocols to ensure students understood what would be expected during the exam days, from adherence to time schedules to the importance of avoiding any form of malpractice.
The school’s headteacher, Mr. Ssenyimba Hormisdas Peter, also addressed the candidates, emphasizing the school’s confidence in their abilities and urging them to stay focused and committed to their studies. He encouraged students to remain calm and diligent, assuring them that the entire staff was ready to support them throughout the examination period.
The UACE exams are a significant milestone, marking the end of secondary education and opening doors to university and other future opportunities.
